Cave Lighter
Keep the lights on!
Survive a dark cave Shoot-em-up where you have to manage how you use the limited resources you capture. It will get harder as time goes on, good luck!
Controls are Mouse and keyboard only. Also, I apologize that the game mechanics are not clear in the gameplay, so please be sure to read the rules to understand the mechanics. And there's no sound X.X
***NOTE*** in order to interact with a lightpost, you need to be next to the base of the post, not the top. Sorry for the confusion!
Controls:
- WASD = move
- LMB = Fire weapon, use a charge
- RMB = Capture Spark, get a charge
- spacebar = light a nearby lightpost, use a charge
- escape = pause

Really cool consept! I can picture this with some more work on the graphics.
Most important would be some more visual feedback on damage taken/given, maybe some indication on the character as to how many charges of light they have. Also some way to know how much light is left in the lampposts. Maybe a final way out of the dark area or ultimate goal would make it better as well. Good job!
The rules aren't very clear, how do I capture more light?
Right click to "capture" the yellow flame-looking things that spawn to get a yellow charge (you can have 4). The capture zone shows just for a few frames.
Then press spacebar to use that when you're next to a light post to light it up.
Then standing in the light recharges the blue bar, which keeps you alive, but stops yellow sparks from spawning at that post while it's on.
